Originally built in 1990, the redevelopment of east India Dock included the transformation of this previously under utilised external space through the creation of a car free landscaped Public Realm. The site wide ground floor has been redesigned to incorporate reception, retail, and leisure spaces to reactive the site with vibrancy and activity with covered seating areas with power, internet and audio connectivity now provide flexible outdoor workspace surrounded by newly planted trees, shrubs and aquatic flora. The waterways that formed part of the original East India Docks have been reimagined with new weirs and waterfalls added to aerate the water and provide a healthy natural environment that is safe and pleasant for the users to enjoy.
